Jr. Developer

SIDEARM Sports the #1 provider of collegiate athletic websites, is looking for a junior developer to join our programming team.

This is a very hands on position where you will help with development & maintenance of a large web based system. Excellent for gaining a great deal of experience in all facets of web applications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Integration of new designs into our software
  • Work with Senior Developers to develop strategies for technology initiatives

  • Minimum of 1 year of programming experience
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET using VB.NET
  • Knowledge of .NET framework
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Knowledge of HTML / CSS knowledge
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX

Nice to Have...
  • Exposure to mobile device development
  • Exposure to Flash/ActionScript

Flash/ActionScript/Flex Developer

SIDEARM Sports the #1 provider of collegiate athletic websites, is looking for a Flash ActionScript developer to join our programming team.

This is a very hands on position where you will help with development & maintenance of a Flash applications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development of new flash applications
  • Work with web developers to develop strategies for integrating flash applications into larger framework

  • Minimum of 2 years of programming experience
  • Knowledge of Flash
  • Knowledge of Flex
  • Excellent Object Oriented ActionScript Skills
  • Knowledge of HTML / CSS knowledge
  • Knowledge of JavaScript & JavaScript Frameworks (i.e., jQuery)

  • Exposure to mobile device development
Nice to Have...
  • Knowledge of consuming Web Services/JSON via Flash
  • Experience with PureMVC Framework
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Streaming Media Experience
